SHIPPING

During COVID-19 you may experience minor shipping delays. 

Orders placed on Friday after 3:00 PM EST will begin processing the following Monday. 

Transit times do NOT include Saturday, Sunday or Holidays. 

PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOUR ORDER IS SHIPPING TO A SECURE LOCATION, as once the package is delivered we cannot be responsible for lost or stolen packages. You can also contact UPS to release only upon signature. In the event that the item(s) is pre-ordered please allow up to 3-5 weeks for your order to ship. We cannot be held accountable for unforeseen weather conditions that delay delivery time.

GROUND STANDARD ON DOMESTIC ORDERS

For US addresses, ALAKAI BAY offers Free UPS Ground shipping on orders over $70 and $8.00 for orders under $70. Customers receive their orders 2-7 business days from the date of dispatch. The estimated delivery date is an estimate only and is not guaranteed. Free shipping does NOT apply to Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico.

We DO NOT ship to PO Boxes and Military APO/FPO addresses at this time.

NEXT DAY AND 2ND DAY

We also provide domestic express service through UPS 2ND DAY and standard UPS NEXT DAY delivery. Orders must be placed before 3:00 PM EST. Saturdays and Sundays do not qualify as delivery days. A signature may be required and additional charges may be assessed if more than one attempt is made for delivery. This service is not available for some zip codes. This option will incur an extra charge.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

International shipments are shipped via UPS who provide customs clearance and delivery service within 2-7 business days from date of dispatch. 

Canada & Mexico: $25 UPS Standard

Europe: $35 Worldwide Shipping

All other Countries: $45 Worldwide Expedited

Custom duties and taxes are not included in the total at checkout. They are determined by the customs agency within the destination country. Although charges are not always incurred, duties and taxes will be based on the value of the order for goods imported. Payment of any duties and import taxes is the responsibility of the receiver, and these fees (I.C.O.D) are collected at the time of delivery. The receiver must pay the duties and taxes due on their package. The international shipping cost incurred at time of check out is non refundable. (A delivery ignored or refused by the receiver is deemed "abandoned" by UPS.)

If a package is "Abandoned" by a customer and is returned to ALAKAI BAY any tax and duties added will be deducted from customers refund.

 RETURN POLICY

We want you to love your ALAKAI BAY. If you are not satisfied with your order, we will gladly accept your return, ONLY on full price items, you must request the return within 7 days of the delivery. Sale items are NOT eligible for returns or refunds. Returned merchandise must include vendor packaging and tags, and be in the same condition as when it was received. Returns/Merchandise must be received within 7 business days from the time of your request. Used merchandise cannot be returned unless defective. 

ALL SALE ITEMS AND ITEMS USING A PROMOTIONAL CODE ARE FINAL SALE and are not eligible for returns, exchanges or price adjustments.

We reserve the right to reject any return/exchange that does not comply with the conditions stated above.     

Refunds will be made in the form of the original payment. Once your return is processed, a refund will be issued for the merchandise amount. Shipping charges cannot be refunded. Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to post to your account.

HOW TO COMPLETE YOUR RETURN

Please remember returns will only be approved if requested within 7 days of an order's arrival. Returns/Merchandise must be received within 7 business days from the time of your request.

We require you email us so that we can provide you with a return service label for local U.S orders. Please email alakaibay@gmail.com and include your first and last name and order number. You can also return using a trackable service of your choice. You also have the option to use a trackable service of your choice.

If you decide to use our pre-paid UPS return label, a return shipping fee of $12 USD (for returns within the 48 contiguous states) or $30 USD (for returns from Alaska and Hawaii) will be deducted from your refund.

EXCHANGES

We currently do NOT offer exchanges. If you would like to exchange an item, please return the original item for a refund and place a new order.

We are unable to refund any import tax/duty that your order may have incurred for returned items.

 INTERNATIONAL RETURNS

Please be advised that for International orders returns may require additional tax/duty for import to delivery destinations in the US. If you request a return of your order or refuse your shipment and we are charged a tax, that duty or tax amount will be deducted from your order total before we credit your account. We do not provide return labels for international returns. Please use a service with a tracking number if you decide to return merchandise back to the U.S.

We only recommend UPS or Fedex when shipping returns, and we are not responsible for lost return packages.

E-GIFT CARDS

ALAKAI BAY E-GIFT CARDS ARE SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • e-gift cards can be ordered in fixed dollar amounts from $50 to $500.
  • e-gift cards can be sent via email to any individual with a valid email address.
  • as with any purchase, you will receive a confirmation email once the e-gift card email is sent to the recipient.
  • e-gift cards cannot be purchased using another e-gift card. 
  • no sales tax is charged when purchasing an e-gift card.

Please note that we cannot replace lost or stolen e-gift cards.

 PRODUCT CARE

Each ALAKAI BAY piece is hand-crafted and requires delicate handling. Be sure any cosmetics, perfumes, etc. are dry before putting on your jewelry, and that there is no contact with water.

SALE ITEMS

All sales are final. Coupons cannot be used on previously purchased items. No price adjustments.
